What Insectaway collects, why, how long it is kept, and how to exercise your rights.

What we collect
When you place an order: name, delivery address, email address and payment confirmation. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach our servers.
When you write to us: whatever you include in the message, kept so that we can answer and follow up.
When you browse: aggregated page views and, if you accept the cookie banner, anonymous traffic statistics.
Why we collect it
To fulfil an order, to answer a question, to handle a return, and to meet tax and consumer-protection obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for the period required by tax law in the country of sale. Enquiries are deleted after twenty-four months. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address on the contact page and we will respond within thirty days. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority.
Cookies
We use a small number of functional cookies (cart, session) and, only with consent, an analytics cookie. You can refuse analytics without losing the ability to order.
Who processes data for us
Payment processing, parcel delivery and email delivery are handled by external providers acting on our instructions. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement.
